As a full time Technical Support Engineer you are responsible for ensuring that products function properly. You work directly increases customer satisfaction.

Tasks & Responsibilities
▪ Develop and maintain a complete understanding of products and ongoing releases
▪ Customer liaison via phone, email or remote control
▪ Technical fault analysis & troubleshooting
▪ Answer calls and e-mails in line with team KPIs
▪ Keep customers (external and internal) informed of the status of their helpdesk issues
▪ Monitor performance of installed software and hardware products
▪ Respond quickly to urgent issues, escalating to product development team where required
▪ Provide training / create documentation as needed
▪ Some periodic overtime outside work hours can be expected, granting reimbursement is at the   discretion of the Tier II Technical Support Manager

Your profile
▪ Qualified training in a technical area (technical communication, experience with fridge/reefer units or similar)
▪ Ability to perform root cause analysis and replicate and test problems in multiple environments
▪ Familiarity with SQL / MS SQL server and databases
▪ Understanding of PC networking hardware/software concepts
▪ Taking decisions, finding solutions and coordinating and finishing projects independently
▪ Transparent and trustworthy
▪ Able to work independently as well as in a team.
▪ A pragmatic and a “can do” attitude
▪ Customer oriented focus
▪ Good communication skills
▪ Native German and good English language skills (verbally and in writing) other European languages are an advantage
